The rishta of Bollywood and cricket is kaafi-purana, and now we hear that a new love story is blooming in town featuring cricket and B’wood together. Buzz is making rounds that classy batsman Suresh Raina and chirpy actress Anushka Sharma are probably the new couple in town. Earlier there were rumours that the girl is dating her co-star in Band Baaja Baaraat, Ranveer Singh but now it seems that they have called it quits. Grapevine says that Anushka and Raina met in London a few months ago and since then they have been quite good friends and manage to find time for each other and also likes hanging out together. Close friends of the pair claim that they share a good chemistry. But beyond that, neither they nor the players involved are ready to say anything.
Raina, of course, was linked with the high-profile daughter of a union minister not too long ago. Raina and Anushka have not made any public appearances yet but it can be confirmed that they are not exactly the kinds who would like to keep their friendship under wraps.
Well, it’s time to see if the ‘good friends’ tag will change into a relationship status!
